There are a host of walks around Wycoller, the Country Park and the surrounding area. There is something for everyone – from a pleasant stroll to an energetic day out – or families wanting a fun time in the fresh air.
We have produced a series of guides which you can print off and use during your visit to Wycoller.
WYCOLLER – Boulsworth Hill(7 miles – about three hours) A walk for the more energetic with a morning or afternoon to spare.
WYCOLLER – Laneshawbridge (Return) (3.5 miles – 1hr 30mins) A pleasant walk on which you will spend much of your time alongside streams.
WYCOLLER – Foster’s Leap – Clam Bridge (less than 2 miles – allow 1hr 15mins) A short walk exploring a variety of scenery around the Country Park.
WYCOLLER WANDERS are short family walks designed and illustrated to enable children to lead the walk.
WYCOLLER WANDER-1 – Woodland Walk (Return) (1 mile – allow 1 hour) A pleasant walk around Raven Rock Plantation.
WYCOLLER WANDER-2 – Bird Table Walk (Return) (1 mile – allow 1 hour) Watch the birds along this scenic trail.
TREE TRAIL WALK. Easy. Self guided walk. (Guided group walks may also be available by arrangement).
This is a newly restored tree trail walk. Learn to identify trees and discover fascinating facts.

GHOST WALKS (Guided) Explore the Myths and Legends in and around the atmospheric Hamlet of Wycoller. You are in for a treat. (See events list for details of the latest Ghost walks). The walks are designed to uncover some of the History of Wycoller through it’s Myths, Legends, and reported ghostly visitors.
BAT WALKS. (Guided) Always popular. Listen to the Bats as they hunt using our Bat detectors. Bat walks usually take place towards the end of the summer but keep up to date with our Events Guide and Facebook page for the latest information
