Sean Bean and Wycoller to star on TV

Filming with a drone at Wycoller
Watch out for Wycoller appearing on TV – again. The village and surrounding area has appeared in everything from The Railway Children film to cookery programmes and Tony Robinson’s Walking Through History to Hidden Villages with one-time resident Penelope Keith.
Recently a crew from True North TV were filming for a short video to appear alongside a day of walking programmes which will be broadcast soon on More4. They used a drone-mounted camera to film a slow-motion piece along a footpath close to the Panopticon. The soundtrack of the film will include actor Sean Bean reading a section from Wuthering Heights.
If we get to know when it will be shown, we’ll let you know – but keep your eyes peeled!
